Take Back Your Time! (Evernote)

Note Taking in the Modern Age

I don’t know about you, part of my daily job is taking notes.

A lot of notes.

In the past I have found it difficult to get the following:

  • keep notes all in one place
  • accessibility on all of my devices at the same time.

I’ve used the Apple’s Notes App, Google Docs, Bear App, Microsoft OneNote, simple markdown apps such as Editorial app for iOS, and most recently the Dropbox Paper App. These apps all have their strong suits; yet I have not been able to depart from the ever so wonderful Evernote app. You ask why?

Following are a number of unique features that I’ve found either in one or multiple solutions. But none of them have all at the same time. So I present to you why Evernote.

1. Searching text in images

This feature is unique; it has OCR built in the workflow which makes it very simple to search all of my files, text and pictures, for that one document that resides somewhere in the 2000+ notes on my account. When looking for a personal…
